The dumplings have a moderate portion, are cooked well, and are filled to the brim. The egg drop soup is slightly greasy due to the addition of crispy shallots, which enhances the flavor, but it may not suit everyone's taste.
The restaurant has air conditioning, making it suitable for dining during hot weather, with a relatively cool environment.
The self-service condiment area and utensils provide convenience, but there is no specific mention of the attitude of the staff.
Hello everyone, I am the Huagui VIP Century Egg!
Since FOODAY started, I've had a little extra budget for meals every day. 👍
Today I came to Hu Lin Street near Yongchun MRT station for lunch, but it just happened that many office workers were out looking for food, and many of the places I wanted to eat at were fully packed with customers, so I found a place with air conditioning and fewer people to fill my stomach.
Man Yi Beef Noodle, I saw that almost all the other customers ordered beef noodles, which is likely their signature dish! If you're interested, you can go try it out.
I personally ordered a portion of dumplings and egg drop soup. The portion of dumplings was quite generous, 10 pieces was just right to satisfy my hunger without being too full.
The egg drop soup was a bit greasy because it had fried shallots added, and it was hot (even though there was air conditioning), so I just finished all the ingredients in the soup and didn't drink the broth.
Overall, if I were to go to Hu Lin Street again, it might not be my first choice, but if I'm really hot and hungry... I would still go. 🤭
