This restaurant is famous for its fresh meat dumplings, which have a chewy texture and a delicious broth. The dry noodles are also satisfying, with a rich meat sauce, and the braised pork skin is soft in texture, though slightly salty. The chili sauce options are rather ordinary.
The restaurant is located at the Yan San Night Market, offering many indoor seating options. The atmosphere is lively and suitable for gatherings, but there is a wait during peak times.
The service attitude is friendly, and the dining experience is good. Although there is still a need to queue during peak hours, the table turnover efficiency is quite good.
❤️ Once awarded the Michelin Bib Gourmand, this restaurant has over three thousand Google reviews, and their fresh meat dumplings are truly delicious! I refer to it as the Din Tai Fung of dumplings!
Every post includes actual dining photos, even if it's just a picture of a drink, to prevent some users from posting misleading images without meal pictures.

💬 Shijia Fresh Meat Dumplings has always been a must-visit at the Yan San Night Market. Although there are many indoor seats, you still need to wait in line for a table. Besides the large crowds, indoor dining is only available until 2:30 PM, after which you can only take out. They take a break until the evening, resuming operations later. The service is excellent, and the dining experience is enjoyable.

One of the famous restaurants in Yansan Night Market, it has been recommended by Michelin Bib Gourmand.
There is a high chance that you will need to queue during dining periods on holidays or in the evening, but the table turnover rate is also very fast.
As the name says, the store’s signature product is meat dumplings. Basically, you can order soup or noodles to eat. I’ve been a bit over this before. They are meat-wrapped salty dumplings with a chewy outer shell. However, they don’t meet my personal preferences, so I generally don’t order them. Will order this in particular.
This time I ordered the signature dry noodles. No surprise, they were double sauce noodles (sesame sauce + fried sauce). The meat was very dry and it was considered a good tasting dry noodle. I also ordered the braised pork rinds, which won’t taste tough due to not being braised for long enough. The dried tofu and braised eggs were just right. The store provides ordinary hot sauce. If there is a unique hot sauce, it may be better to enhance the taste.
Overall, the taste is slightly salty, and it avoids the unnecessary queues during meal times. In addition, you can also take out raw glutinous rice balls, wontons, meatballs, etc. and cook them yourself.
In addition, if there are any breaks, they will be announced on FB, so you can confirm before going to avoid missing out.
