The chicken broth and clear chicken soup at this restaurant are both very delicious, with a warm and mellow soup base. The accompanying char siu rice is even tastier, leaving a deep impression. The noodles are delicate with a moderate firmness, and the portions are generous, plus you can get free soup refills.
The restaurant is often bustling with crowds, so be mentally prepared to wait in line. However, on rainy days, there are fewer people, allowing for a more relaxed dining atmosphere. The indoor space is spacious, the seating is comfortable, and the waiting time is shorter.
Although there is a need to wait in line, the staff is friendly, making the dining experience more enjoyable. The employees inform customers about the changes in the broth's richness, showing thoughtful service.
For those who love char siu rice, please remember to order char siu rice if it's available; anyone who enjoys char siu rice will definitely not regret it!
Located in Neihu, this ramen shop is quite famous, with a focus on chicken broth, which is quite different from the majority of ramen shops that serve tonkotsu broth.
Personally, I think the interior space is quite large, and each seat is very comfortable. Because the indoor space is ample, they can accommodate customers in line fairly quickly.
This time I ordered the salt-flavored chicken white broth; among the options for lunch, this broth is the richest. The staff informed me that the evening version would be even richer!
As for the noodles, I personally really like thin noodles, which have a moderate firmness. However, I feel that the portion size of the noodles is quite generous, so there's not much need to order extra noodles!
Moreover, they offer free refills on the broth, and it’s not just plain broth; I really recommend this aspect!
Although the soft-boiled egg needs to be purchased separately, I personally don't have a strong preference for soft-boiled eggs, so that's fine. The portion size and price for the additional meat slices are shown in the photo. I think the taste is pretty good, and the price depends on your situation!
In summary, I still highly recommend this place. It's a must-try when you are in Neihu!
A friend said it is the best chicken soup in Taipei🐔
As someone who doesn’t particularly like ramen, I came to eat at this famous restaurant surrounded by friends🤣
Let me start by saying that I am not a big soup person, so I ordered chicken consommé this time~ The chicken consommé soup is very mild, and the salt is not too salty. The chicken soup tastes lighter than I thought, but I think it is still very good. It tastes good; my friend ordered chicken white soup. The thickness is somewhere between chicken clear soup and tonkotsu soup. It tastes better than I expected!
The chicken clear soup is paired with thin noodles, and the chicken white soup is paired with QQ's medium roll noodles (⬅️I like this)
The barbecued pork served with both types of ramen is delicious, with thin meat (either chicken or pork)
Another must-order is the "Barbecued Pork Rice". The rice is covered with diced barbecued pork. It's so fragrant. This may be my MVP today.
Although I’ve always been a fan of clear soup, I really recommend ordering the chicken white soup here over the clear soup!
Reminder: This restaurant usually has a long queue, so you basically have to wait, but it happened to be rainy that day and the crowds were relatively small. Fortunately, you didn’t have to queue; people who want to come must be mentally prepared to queue~
