The menu offers a diverse selection, but mainly focuses on black coffee and bread. The dessert options are limited. The coffee has a lot of dairy added, which may not be suitable for customers who are used to black coffee. Overall, the meal leaves a mediocre impression and is difficult to make a lasting impact.
The store's interior design is comfortable, with well-partitioned seating areas suitable for conversations. However, the furniture is quite heavy, making it difficult to clean, and there are some crumbs and dirt in certain areas.
The staff do not often disturb, and the service is relatively quiet.
Japanese Chain Café!
So Japanese that I felt a bit unfamiliar...
My biggest critique of this place is the food, so if I visit again in the future, it probably won't be for the meals. (Unless the menu changes, of course.)
Things I'm not used to:
1️⃣ Almost all the coffee has milk, and the drinks often come with a big dollop of whipped cream!
Since I'm used to drinking black coffee, I found that my only option here was really just black coffee 🫠...
If you're someone who always adds milk to your coffee, you may not feel the same way, but if you're not used to adding milk, you might find that black coffee is the only option here 🙂↔️
2️⃣ There's a lot of "bread options."
I originally expected to enjoy afternoon tea at the café, which, in my mind, means a cup of black coffee with a sweet cake.
Setting aside the black coffee, I didn't see any sweet cakes on the menu even after going through the whole thing, which really surprised me! Luckily, I later found some on the separate afternoon tea menu and the online menu, which allowed me to have what I wished for. Instead, the menu mainly had sandwiches, toasted bread, burgers, etc. If you're looking for a light meal, that works, but if you want cake or other desserts, it's a bit tough to choose 😅.
Given these two points, I can't give a high rating because the menu significantly lowers my willingness to revisit, although this isn't the only reason for a low score.
I do like the interior!
For discussing matters and not wanting to be easily disturbed by next-door tables, each area is almost always separated by partitions, and the staff don't interrupt often, which I appreciate!
However, perhaps because the furnishings are quite heavy, cleaning the corners is difficult, and I saw crumbs and dirt in the gaps, which made the dining experience somewhat uncomfortable.
And the most important point:
The food did not leave a lasting impression or taste particularly good, nor did it make me want to come back, even when I saw what my friends ordered 👀... I didn't feel it was quite worthwhile.
Therefore, apologies to this place 👋. Unless someone invites me again, I probably won't choose to visit this chain for the time being.
