Hokkaido Grilled Ramen is one of the small brand chain ramen that has emerged in recent years.
The store's main specialty is not only ramen, but also rice bowls, curry rice, udon noodles, etc., so after careful consideration, I decided to change the category to Japanese cuisine.
What I enjoyed today was volcanic lava barbecued pork ramen, priced at 190 yuan.
The menu has cute arrows with notes about the owner’s favorites.
Volcanic Lava Char Siu Ramen:
The noodle is a common thin ramen, with a springy texture and a good grip on the soup. The soup base does look like a volcano, rich and fragrant, but not too spicy.
The slices of barbecued pork were very round, and the dried bamboo shoots and soft-boiled eggs were good, but I couldn't accept the corn.
I usually regard ramen with corn as Taiwanese ramen.
The store's self-service bar has drinks and miso soup for free. The quality of the miso soup is not bad. The drinks of the day are sugar-free tea and fruit vinegar, which is unexpectedly high cost. A cup after a full meal is quite good at removing oil and relieving greasiness.
Overall, it's a decent Japanese ramen shop.
The food itself is pretty good, and the buffet bar is also up to par.
Recommended to everyone.
