Asha's stinky tofu is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and it pairs incredibly well with pickled vegetables. The spicy mixed duck blood is especially delicious, while the soup is quite standard. Overall, the variety is rich and diverse, and the prices are reasonable. The vermicelli is thick and flavorful, the large intestine is well-marinated, and the sweet and spicy soup is unique.
The interior environment is built with a steel shed, providing a comfortable dining space. It operates until early morning, making it suitable for late-night customers, and the atmosphere is pleasant.
The staff moves quickly, and even with a line, you don’t have to wait long; the service is efficient.
The Ah Xia noodle shop located at the end of Siwei Road always has great business, no matter when you go. The staff work quickly, so even if you see a line, you don’t need to worry about waiting long! The noodle soup is thick and flavorful, and the large intestine is well-marinated. If you like mixed meatballs, that’s highly recommended too. Whenever I crave noodle soup after some time, I definitely come back here.
The spicy duck blood and spicy stinky tofu are also quite decent, and considering the price, the value for money is pretty good!
The fried stinky tofu is more conventional; overall, it’s not the kind of particularly delicious variety. On the other hand, the sweet and spicy tofu is quite special as it’s a rare soup-type sweet and spicy tofu, with the sauce served separately. It’s great for snacking in winter!
It’s said that Taiwanese people have 1/4 of their blood tied to noodle soup and another 1/4 to stinky tofu, so coming here can satisfy half of that craving XD.
One of the few shops in Xixinzhuang Siwei Night Market that is open until early morning is Axia Stinky Tofu.
Today I enjoyed spicy mixed noodles and cabbage meatball soup, totaling 120 yuan.
Spicy comprehensive:
The extra noodles are Oji noodles.
I think the flavor of braised duck blood is obviously better than that of stinky tofu.
The stinky tofu is quite delicious, the fermented flavor is quite balanced with the spicy soup, and the portion is quite large, but the duck blood is super delicious.
The duck blood has a delicate texture, and the marinade and spicy soup base will obviously bring out the sweetness in your mouth.
The Prince Noodles are just average, but the portion is not big enough to fill your stomach.
The accompanying Korean spicy food was okay. It was not as spicy and sweet as the Korean spicy food I had on Nanjing East Road before, but it was still delicious enough and had only a little bit of iron taste.
Cabbage meatball soup:
A decent bowl of soup.
The soup base is stewed with radish essence, add a few meatballs and sprinkle with coriander.
It's just right as an adjustment after a spicy and comprehensive meal.
However, radish fiber can occasionally be too thick.
The chili on the table in the store is divided into noodle chili and stinky tofu chili. Mee sua chili is based on spicy dried radish, and stinky tofu chili is raw chili. If you like spicy food, you can try both.
Overall, late night snacks are the best choice for Xia Xinzhuang (actually there are not many competitors).
The interior area built with steel sheds is considered to be of high standard in a night market.
Recommended to everyone.
Axia Stinky Tofu is a famous late-night snack restaurant in Xixinzhuang Siwei Market. It is located at the intersection of Xinzhuang Siwei Road and Fuguo Road. Stinky tofu and large intestine noodles are must-try products. There are only two restaurants in Siwei Market with delicious large intestine noodles and noodles. It's another one next to Axia's candy shop. Their stinky tofu is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It's really delicious when paired with kimchi. There's a Bade three-dimensional parking lot nearby, so whether you're riding a motorcycle or driving a car, All very convenient.
