This restaurant specializes in sauerkraut hot pot and pig stomach hot pot, featuring a rich variety of ingredients and meats. The sauerkraut is very flavorful, and the soup base is sour and appetizing. The pig stomach hot pot looks very enticing and is worth a try.
The restaurant in Lingya District that specializes in sauerkraut and pork belly hot pots is really quite good. A pot costs 700 TWD, which may sound expensive, but in reality, it's not bad at all, as the portion is suitable for three people to share, making it a decent value for money.
The broth is very substantial, and the ingredients are quite rich, plus there's a plate of meat included, so you don't even need to order extra to feel satisfied. The soup is sufficiently sour, with the sauerkraut being really tangy and flavorful; when you bite into it, it even squirts sour juice, making it increasingly appetizing with each bite.
If you're worried about it being too sour, you can also opt for the pork belly hot pot. I saw the neighboring table order it, and the whole pot looked incredibly fragrant and nourishing, making me very tempted to have a taste. I definitely want to try the pork belly hot pot on my next visit!
