🌊 I’ve heard a lot about this seaside snack shop, and I finally decided to check it out. Even though I came on a holiday afternoon, surprisingly there was no queue at all, and I could order via bank transfer, which made the overall process quite convenient.
🦑 Ginger Stir-fried Small Squid ($250) was flavorful and salty enough, and the squid was well-prepared, giving it a nice bouncy texture.
🐚 Stir-fried Clams ($300) had a hint of wine aroma, the meat was fresh, but the sauce was a bit oily; still delicious.
🌿 Stir-fried Seaweed ($220) was unexpectedly layered, containing scallions, eggs, carrots, and seaweed, imparting a fresh ocean flavor.
🥬 Stir-fried Greens ($100) was water spinach, which had thicker stems but was stir-fried well and tender, with a strong garlic flavor.
🍜 Small Squid Rice Noodles ($150) had a light broth with a slight sweetness; the squid was fresh and chewy, and the portion was generous.
🐟 Stir-fried Stingray ($250) had slightly firm meat, giving it a good chew, but personally, I think one try is enough.
🎋 Bamboo Shoots ($150) were on the salty side, with a crunchy texture but not much distinct flavor.
🧾 The total for this meal was $1,420, mostly seafood dishes, with prices being moderate but the portions were sufficient. Overall, I liked the seaweed and the small squid rice noodles the most; the combination of salty and light flavors was just right~ A peaceful and quiet afternoon made it even better 😌.
