After looking at Liz's food map of the East District, I went to Meijing Hongyou Shopping Mall and accidentally discovered that the daughter-in-law of the owner of Meijing opened a small branch (?). The items sold were basically the same, with the addition of beef/pork trotter soup bases that were more cumbersome. .
I've only had Hong You Chao Shou on both sides. I thought Yunfeng's filling was greasy, maybe because it contained a higher proportion of pork?
The hot and sour noodles have only been eaten in Yunfeng, but I can't compare them. The whole thing is mostly sour and sweet, and it feels like Korean kimchi (no kimchi in it)
