The restaurant offers a variety of dishes, including barbecued items, stir-fried dishes, and hot pot. The seafood hot pot is rich in content, with a balanced combination of vegetables, meats, and seafood, making it a favorite among the whole family.
A place suitable for family dining, the atmosphere during dinner time is warm, especially under the moonlight during the Lantern Festival, which adds a romantic touch.
The service is quick, especially when the restaurant just opens; the speed of serving the food after ordering is very fast.
"The Big Boss - Izakaya" as the name suggests, should be categorized as an "izakaya." The dishes naturally include barbecue. Interestingly, there are also non-typical izakaya dishes such as stir-fried dishes and hot pot. It's quite suitable for family dinners. We went to eat as soon as the restaurant opened; at that time there weren't many customers, the dishes were served quickly, and we finished eating early.
We ordered the following dishes: there were vegetables, meat, and seafood. Nutritionally balanced, and the kids liked them too.
(1) Sesame oil lotus root with egg.
(2) Stir-fried cabbage: + carrot, fish cake, shiitake mushrooms.
(3) Seafood hot pot: rich in content. (See photo.)
(4) Salt-grilled Matsusaka pork.
(5) Grilled salmon belly.
(6) Salt-grilled sea cucumber.
A very satisfying dinner. As night fell, we took a walk under the moonlight. A full moon hung high in the sky. Ah! It turned out that it was Lantern Festival (the fifteenth day of the first lunar month) that day.
(The restaurant has been reopened for more than a week after the Spring Festival holiday in 2025.)
