The place is called Daelim Warehouse, which was once a rice mill in the 1970s and has now been transformed into a café. The interior design still maintains a vintage look with red bricks and concrete, creating an incredibly spacious environment—with a second floor that can comfortably accommodate over a hundred guests.
Years ago, when I visited Korea on a tour, the guide brought us to this café. She said it was her top recommendation in Seongdong, but unfortunately, I didn’t listen to her and went shopping instead. This time, I am determined to pay homage to it on my return to Korea. 🫡
