The restaurant offers a diverse range of cuisine options, with the garlic red wine braised beef rice and caramel cheesecake pudding being particularly recommended. The beef is tender, and the pudding has a creamy texture.
The shop's interior is cute and the environment is clean. Although it's located in a small alley, it's still popular, and there are limited seats, so reservations are required in advance.
The speed of serving dishes is fast, the service adds points, and the overall dining experience is satisfying.

Location: About a 5-minute walk from Wenshin Zhongqing MRT Station
Dining Environment: The shop has a cute decor and is clean.
Ordering Method: Order at the counter; cash only.
Dining time is 90 minutes.
Garlic Red Wine Braised Beef Rice (with Sunny Side Up Egg) $260
The dish includes about 6 pieces of beef, with ingredients like zucchini, baby corn, and cherry tomatoes. The beef is very tender, and the zucchini is tasty.
Stir-Fried Water Lily with Rice Noodles $120
Not highly recommended; it has a strange taste (?), likely from one of the ingredients, which I personally don’t like.
Spicy Pork Belly Rice with Dried Chili (with Sunny Side Up Egg) $220
Rich in flavor, each bite has both the dried chili and salted egg; the spiciness is mild.
Basil Omelette $120
A regular basil omelette, not too oily, which is commendable.
Caramel Cheese Pudding $80
Highly recommended! It’s very delicious; I would come back just for the pudding. The texture is very rich, with a strong cheese flavor.
11:00 AM business starts. The small shop filled with guests by 11:00 AM. Although it is located in a narrow alley, the crowd remains steady. If you want to dine here, you must message the shop via Facebook to make a reservation in advance (🔍 Jinxiang - reservations open within a week).
A small drawback is that parking is hard to find. Whether you ride a bicycle or a scooter, it's a challenge. However, if you're willing to pay, there is a parking lot next to the shop; I remember it costs 50 TWD per hour, which is not cheap at all.
The overall style feels like having a meal at someone else's home; it's warm and has a very homely vibe. 💗 There are about 20 seats in total, neither more nor less. I really like the variety of their dishes. Even when I come for the second time, I still hesitate for a long time about what to eat! Because I want to try everything…
Western, Taiwanese, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Thai, Singaporean, Sichuan cuisine are all available for selection. 🤝🏻 They even occasionally offer limited-time dishes, which can be found on the small blackboard in the shop, so it’s really hard to go wrong here! 🤣
And the service speed is very fast, which is a plus.
This time, I ordered what everyone recommended:
✐ Garlic Butter Bass with Shrimp Rice $300
· It comes with a bowl of white rice. Originally, the portion looked small, but I felt quite full after finishing it. The dish lives up to its name, and you can taste the rich garlic flavor. The bass is not fishy, and the seasoning is great and refreshing. ✨
And
✐ Vietnamese Seafood and Beef Wide Noodles $290
· This item is relatively new. As the shop mentioned, there is more filling than noodles. The ingredients and seafood are abundant to the point that you can randomly scoop out plenty! However, it’s a bit bland; it doesn’t come with additional lemon, chili, or sauces. The taste is delicious, but those who prefer stronger flavors might find it lacking.
I must say, the portion of this bowl is really generous!
✐ Xinyi Plum Fried Chicken $160
· The last time I came, I ordered Korean-style fried chicken. Compared to that, this one suits my taste better. The amount of chicken is also generously served, and the pieces are plump. The plum flavor reduces the overall greasiness, which I quite like! ~
