The meals are similar to those at McDonald's in Taiwan, and during special promotional events, unique items are offered, such as the Japanese BBQ pork burger, which comes with a sweet Japanese sauce.
The dining area is spacious, but it can get crowded during peak hours, so it is advisable to avoid dining during peak times.
One major point I want to make is that the restaurant prices at Hong Kong airport are quite expensive. If you want to save money while enjoying delicious food, the McDonald's in the airport is definitely your best friend.
In terms of food taste, I think there isn't much difference compared to McDonald's in Taiwan; the only variations are in some specific promotional items. For example, during my visit, they were promoting the Japanese Samurai series, so I ordered the Teriyaki Pork Burger (Shogun Burger), which had a layer of sweet Japanese sauce.
I recommend that if you want to dine in, you should avoid peak meal times, otherwise, just the time spent waiting to order can be very long, and in the worst-case scenario, you might even miss your flight, so be careful. Alternatively, you can also go through customs first and then go into McDonald's inside the terminal to eat, you don't necessarily have to dine outside the restricted area first.
