The bustling Oharaimachi nearby is a beautiful stone-paved street about 800 meters long that runs alongside the Isuzugawa River, starting from Uji Bridge. The townscape features unique Ise-style architecture, including gabled roofs, irimoya (hip-and-gable) roofs, and tsuma-iri (entrance) styles.
