鹹酥雞和魷魚雖然外帶後失去酥脆感,但肉質香甜多汁,地瓜更是香氣四溢,非常推薦。豆乾則稍顯乾燥,油耗味明顯,甜不辣口感佳且價格親民。

The "White Girl Fried Chicken" located on Kaiyuan Road is on a stretch with many clinics. I happened to pass by after visiting the doctor and thought I would give it a try. To my surprise, it was actually quite good! Also, the walls of the shop are filled with many advertisements for their homemade dishes, which are quite unique and eye-catching.
Fried Chicken: Since I took it to go, it didn’t have that crispy outer layer, but the meat itself was sweet and juicy, and the portion was decent.
Squid: Similar to the chicken, it didn’t have that crispy texture, but it had a lot of flavors and the inside was fresh and juicy!
Sweet Potato: It’s not expensive and tastes really good. The pepper salt mixed with the natural sweetness of the sweet potato is highly recommended.
Tofu: It was fried a bit too dry, lacking moisture, and the outer texture wasn’t great. I’m not sure if it’s an issue with the seasoning, but the tofu had a slight greasy taste, so I wouldn't recommend it.
Tempura: This dish also has a lot of texture, with a natural fish paste flavor, and it's reasonably priced. It's more on the tasty and filling side.
Overall, it’s quite a nice spot to check out. People living nearby can grab it as a late-night snack, while those visiting Tainan might not necessarily need to make a special stop for it. Also, the mild spice level isn’t very spicy, so it’s recommended to go for the medium spice instead.
