The temperature in summer... really needs a bowl of ice.
Recently, I've been coming to Qingshui more often, slowly discovering the local delicacies and snacks.
I found this old-fashioned-looking Douhua shop.
The store is really quite small (with three seats inside and one table outside).
The shop only uses fans, not air conditioning, so it doesn't feel suitable for a long stay.
However, there's a PX Mart right next door, which is very convenient. If you drive, you can park inside (30 minutes or if you make a purchase, you can offset the parking fee!).
The service isn't extremely friendly, but since it’s just basic ordering, I don't mind much~

The best thing about this shop's ice is that whether it's the Douhua or the soybean milk ice, they use non-GMO yellow soybeans to make it, which is very fragrant and rich, and completely natural.
When the ice products were served, I suddenly felt like I had entered an influencer shop🤣.
The utensils used by the shop and the appearance of the ice products are all so cute!
The taste exceeded my expectations and had a quality that makes one want to revisit.
If you love the aroma of soybean milk, you must try the soybean milk ice (20 NTD for three scoops). The texture is super smooth without any ice shavings, and each bite leaves a very strong fragrance in your mouth.
The other toppings are also quite genuine; they have the right chewiness and tenderness.
In short, you can tell that the shop really cares about the quality of the ingredients and puts in effort.
If I pass by here again in the future, I will want to take a few bowls to share with family and friends 💗
