I heard that the best teppanyaki in Hsinchu is Da Pu Teppanyaki 🤩
And it's open until 4 AM
So you can eat late at night
It's located on Zhongzheng Road
The sign isn't very noticeable, so you might accidentally miss it
There are a lot of employees and the business is great
They work seamlessly
During weekend dinner hours, it's fully booked
The staff will give you your meals first, then take your order, and you wait in line for seating
You'll roughly wait about 20 minutes
For the vegetables, they have cabbage and bean sprouts (standard sides for teppanyaki XD)
You can choose just one of them
You can also get more sides
The spiciness can be adjusted
Overall, the seasoning is just right
The oysters taste fresh with no fishy smell
But there were a couple of small shells in it
The pork is not overcooked
At one point, they were so busy that they ran next door to borrow rice XD
I don't know why in Hsinchu, you have to order rice separately and there are no drink machines
This place honestly serves typical teppanyaki XD
I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here on a regular basis
But if you're craving a proper meal late at night, it's definitely recommended.
