The location of this noodle shop is surrounded by an older community, but recently this old community has started to attract some younger shops and restaurants, so it has begun to come alive again.
This noodle shop also has a somewhat artsy style, with a diverse and varied selection of noodles. However, classic small dishes are still available. For example, the stewed duck blood and fried tofu are moderately flavored, not too heavy, and have just the right amount of chewiness, making them quite delicious. There are also more Sichuan-style noodle options, and the spiciness is very appropriate. That kind of spicy and numbing sensation is perfect for those who enjoy spicy food but also care about their health.
The only downside is that the prices are a bit higher than usual. If friends want to eat noodles, there are actually many more affordable options nearby, as the Nantun traditional market is right around the corner.
