Ostaria dei Centopoveri

Before leaving Florence, I chose this Italian restaurant "Ostaria dei Centopoveri" for my last dinner

We arrived at 8:30 on Wednesday night. There were many groups of customers queuing outside. We didn’t make a reservation. The clerk told us that we had to wait for 20 minutes. We were finally seated around 9:00.

Let’s talk about the shortcomings first:

1. There was a table opening fee, but they didn’t give us bread. Other tables had bread. We reminded the clerk and the clerk still didn’t give it to us. After reminding the clerk a second time, the clerk brought it to us, but the bread basket was thrown. Makes people feel less respected
2. This store is really noisy! Maybe it's because the tables are very close together, or maybe it's because we happened to meet a lot of tables going for dinner that day, and it was very noisy. We couldn't hear each other and the waiters talking at all. Our ears were constantly being bombarded by the customers next door. It was very tiring. If you want to If you are going on a date, I highly recommend this restaurant.

Let’s comment on the food again:

Pasta with truffle cream €11
The pasta is wide-format, and it tastes good, but the truffle cream tastes a bit bland, the sauce is not thick, and the temperature is not quite enough. It may be because I ate Osteria Pastella’s truffle cream pasta two days ago and it was so amazing. , it seems like this place is a bit ordinary.

Roast pork tenderloin with roasted potatoes €9.5
Not at all. The pork meat is super hard and dry, with no gravy at all. Each bite takes a long time. The roasted potato as a side dish is even more delicious than the main dish. I don’t recommend it at all.

Tiramisu €5
The portion is large, it is recommended that two people share it; it is not the tiramisu that I think is very delicious, because the inside of the bread is a bit dry

Overall, I think there are better Italian restaurants in Florence, such as Osteria Pastella. Although the price of this restaurant is more pleasant, the food is mediocre and not delicious. Unless I have nothing to eat, I don’t want to visit again.
