When you come to Florence, it is highly recommended to find a restaurant to eat truffle-related dishes!

This "Osteria Pastella" is located diagonally opposite the famous perfume and drug store "SMN Centennial Monastery", which is quite easy to find.

This restaurant is very popular and only opens at 12 noon. We finished visiting the century-old monastery around 11:50 and found that there were already more than 20 people lined up opposite. However, maybe because there were enough seats, we did not make a reservation. We were seated within 15 minutes of opening the store.

The most famous feature of this restaurant is the live performance of making truffle pasta, and the atmosphere and service are very good. As soon as you sit down, the waiter will first serve you a glass of pre-dinner wine (probably white wine) and snacks (I didn’t understand clearly) What, it tastes like fried dough, delicious!), and there is a small glass of lemon wine to relieve fatigue after the meal, which is a super bonus!

Creamy truffle pasta €27
Most of the pasta sold in Italian restaurants costs €12-18. This pasta is about twice as much. It’s really expensive, but because this is the signature dish, I came here just for it, so I still bite the bullet. Clicked

And you can enjoy a live production performance. First, melt the cheese over fire, then add cream pasta and stir-fry in truffle oil, and finally cut off the black truffle slices. It is really an eye-catching and appetizing performance.

Pigeon risotto €23
Since I have never eaten pigeon meat, I ate it and saw that it was not fully cooked. I was a little scared when I saw the red color, but it was very tender and delicious! The seasoning of the risotto is also very good, and you won’t get tired of it until the end. If the cream truffle pasta is 95 points, then this risotto is also 85 points.

Overall, although the price of this restaurant is on the high side, the food is really excellent, and the atmosphere and service are both good. I recommend eating truffle pasta here when you come to Florence.
