This is an old restaurant in Pingtung that has been in business for many years. Back when it was located on Rueiguang Road Section 1, I often headed here to refuel after playing ball with my team. Although the environment was a bit rudimentary back then, those youthful memories are truly deep.
Now, they have moved to a storefront on Chonglan Guangdong Road, and the overall feel is completely different—there's air conditioning and clean, bright seating, making dining here much more comfortable and giving this old establishment a new vitality.
The prices are also quite reasonable:
Starting fee 💰100 (for the pot)
Grilled and hot pot combo 💰298 per person
Dining time is two hours, and there is no service charge.
Unfortunately, the menu no longer includes the beef short ribs from before, which diminishes some of the nostalgia. However, the flavor of the meat slices remains excellent, paired with a wide variety of fresh vegetables, which still makes for a satisfying experience.
If you're occasionally craving grilled and hot pot but don't want to spend too much, this place is still a great choice worth revisiting.
