This time I went to the Zhu Jian Zhongli Datong directly-operated store for a meal. What’s special about this place is that it offers two dining options: hot pot and BBQ. I chose the hot pot this time~

💫 Dishes
Cantonese Pepper Pork Bone Hot Pot: The pepper flavor is very strong, and there are two options: with ingredients and without. I ordered the one without additional ingredients, but the flavor is quite enough; you can smell the pepper from afar, and it has a spicy kick that goes well with rice.
Bone Marrow Hot Pot: There is no broth, and the flavor is quite similar to clear braised beef soup. If you like clear braised beef noodles, you can opt for this pot~
Matsusaka Pork (small): The texture is quite crunchy and unique. The meat is thick and has no porky smell. There are small and large portions available, and it's suggested that women should order the small portion as it's more than enough!
Wagyu Beef (small): There are also small and large portions, but the meat slices are quite big! There are about 5-6 slices, and since they're larger, they can’t fit in the mouth at once 😂. There isn’t much marbling, and the texture is just like regular meat slices without any distinctive features.

💫 Environment
The restaurant is located in downtown Zhongli, on the second floor. After entering through a small door, you will be greeted by staff on the second floor. The space isn’t large, and if two people are trying to pass each other in the corridor, a slight turn is needed. The dining time is 100 minutes. Also, since it's located downtown, it’s recommended to leave early to find a parking space so you don’t miss your reservation time.

💫 Prices
The two set meals I ordered this time both cost NT$520. The soup base is an additional charge, and there will be a 10% service charge added to the bill. The price range is on the higher side, making it a good place for occasional dates!

The translation of "自助吧" to English is "Self-service bar."

晚餐時段來到築間,幾乎是全滿的狀態;幸好有事先訂位,不然應該要等上好一陣子 這間築間取代了原本的燒烤店,主推火烤兩吃,除了可以來這裡單純吃鍋以外,也可以選擇燒肉+火鍋的用餐方式,一次滿足兩種願望 這次三人用餐,我們分別點了兩份燒肉套餐以及一份火鍋套餐,湯底均選擇了石頭鍋底,而燒肉的部分是大家一起享用 首先是冷藏收成牛五花,油脂相當多,烤起來會一直滴油;肉本身品質不錯,我選出搭配「辣味牛B醬/蔥花/洋蔥」享用,滿口香甜(幾乎不辣),非常滿足! 而另外一份台灣嚴選雪花豬,肥瘦均衡、口感柔軟多汁;很合我們一桌每個人的口味 燒肉雖然小片,但都切得更厚實一些,比較不容易沾黏烤網。默默希望店家提供海鹽,這樣更可以享受到肉的原始風味 火鍋套餐的海鮮總匯裡,各種海鮮都來參一咖;蚵仔給得特別多,沒有腥味很加分;軟絲不管是煮湯、燒烤都適合,加上一些酸甜的醬料是再合適不過了;蝦類、魚片的表現都偏普通;而生蠔則是被我拿去烤了,不過吃起來甜味不夠,表現不突出 一旁的石頭湯底也一邊煮著我們在自助吧取來的青菜與火鍋料,不停滾著。鍋底是以香油爆炒過的洋蔥與蒜末再加入高湯,非常香,所有火鍋料都充滿鍋底的香氣 在自助區豐富的飲品選擇以及多達三個品牌的冰淇淋,讓人眼花撩亂。我們在享受正餐之餘,特地留下肚子喝了好幾杯飲料、吃了好幾球冰淇淋,有種什麼都要試一下的感覺 整體來說,築間的中等價位並沒有讓我對這餐感到驚豔;不過,一般的聚餐確實是很適合來這間築間,能夠同時吃到火鍋以及燒肉、一次享受兩種吃法
