Curious about where everyone in Kaohsiung buys Daifuku? Every time I come across something that looks good online, I drop by, especially at the end of strawberry season, it's a must to be proactive 🍓😆 This time, I made a pilgrimage to the Red Dou Ni Strawberry Daifuku located in Sinsing District, close to Kaohsiung Station.

The fact that there’s no need to queue is really comfortable... you can order online in advance, choose your pickup time, and just collect it at the store. Additionally, the shop also collaborates with delivery services and offers multiple payment options, which is super convenient. Their strawberries are freshly shipped directly from Dahu, with Grade 1 strawberries that are very large and juicy, hard to fit in one bite…

A standard box of strawberry red bean filling is under 300 TWD, which is really generous (buying one outside costs 65-85 TWD or even more). Besides the red bean Daifuku, there’s also a special milk pastry strawberry Daifuku, which is very unique—the packaging is a light lotus pink, simple yet refined. If you’re looking to buy souvenirs to take home, you might want to consider this (it can be refrigerated for three days).

· It’s not overly sweet and doesn’t overshadow the strawberries; my favorite is the green bean flavor. It has a sweet aroma of green beans along with a faint milky scent, very smooth to eat. The red bean is classic and delicious, but the taro flavor is less pronounced.

· This is the first time I've seen Daifuku filled with milk pastry; I really admire the shop's creativity 👍🏻 However, it is sweeter than the bean filling, which ant people would love. The berry milk pastry is my top choice; strawberry milk pastry combined with strawberries, the aroma is off the charts and it pairs perfectly. The pistachio milk pastry's aroma is also not very pronounced. Next time, I’ll think about buying the berry milk pastry six-piece set (how much do I love it? ᶻ 𝗓 𐰁 · .)

The six-piece box here is simple yet beautiful. I think it’s also great for gift-giving!
