On that day, there weren't many people, and there were some empty seats, but there was a bit of time pressure for taking the high-speed train, so I confirmed with the staff how long it would take to serve the meal after being seated. The staff informed me that it would take about 15 minutes, so I sat down to eat.
I ordered the popular signature dish - garlic pork bone ramen. The garlic flavor was quite strong, and the taste was also very bold. The first bite was a bit salty, but the flavor was pretty good. Their spice is quite special; instead of the commonly found chili, they use spicy chives, which pairs well with the noodles and really does have a kick. There were also other condiments available for self-adjustment, but for me, the flavor was quite strong, so aside from the spice, I didn't add any other seasonings.
The portion was quite sufficient for me. Besides the chashu, there was also a half egg. I personally prefer soft-boiled eggs and don't like fully cooked eggs, so I felt it was a bit of a pity. My companion ordered the garlic pork bone miso chashu ramen, and the broth had a rich miso flavor, but by the end, it was a bit greasy, and we couldn't finish the soup.
This place is next to the Kaohsiung high-speed rail station at Shin Kong Mitsukoshi. It's a good option for a quick meal before taking the high-speed train.
