50 Lan's renowned reputation doesn't require much introduction. The MRT Shandao Temple station branch is located near exit 1 of Shandao Temple, with a prominent sign and a wide sidewalk. The nearby Central Art and Cultural Park makes it a great area for a stroll.
Today, I enjoyed the Golden Oolong tea, priced at NT$40.
Golden Oolong:
Most items on the 50 Lan menu have long-standing popularity, and the Golden Oolong is no exception. The fermented flavor of the Golden Oolong is quite enchanting, with a smooth texture that's sweet but not cloying, and it leaves a pleasant aftertaste. The unsweetened sweetness is particularly delightful. If it weren't for replenishing electrolytes, you don't necessarily need to add sugar.
Overall, it's a stable quality leading chain business. 50 Lan was established in Tainan in 1994, marking its thirty-year anniversary this year.
Although 50 Lan can be found in various places, it's said that their franchise and approval process are quite strict in order to maintain consistent quality. Perhaps it's this adherence to standards that has built the beverage empire we see today.
Highly recommended to everyone!
