In the stylish cafe within the Xinyi business district A13, you can dine without time limits on weekdays. The seating comes with sockets, there are plenty of dessert options that are very affordable, and the hand-brewed coffee is excellent. It's a department store cafe where you can sit for a long time to use your computer or chat.

CURISTA COFFEE has various branches, and this time I visited the one located on the 4th floor of Shin Kong Mitsukoshi A13 (next to the Apple store). You will see it as you come up the escalator; it's very conspicuous beside the food court.
The storefront presents a clean white and navy blue tone. Apart from the round table area, which is suitable for coffee and chatting, there are also two rows of seats against the wall, which have sockets underneath. The seats consist of comfortable sofa-backed chairs, perfect for computer work, ensuring you won't feel uncomfortable even after sitting all day.
As long as it’s not full, there’s no time limit for dining, but when it’s full, there is a 2-hour limit. Thankfully, during my visit, I wasn't rushed and spent the whole afternoon there, feeling very relaxed 😌.
This time, I enjoyed:
The hand-brewed coffee tasted great, with its flavors fully expressed. For Ethiopian, I recommend ordering it iced for a more pronounced flavor.
The desserts were cheaper than expected. Initially, I thought a cafe in a department store would be expensive, but most desserts are under 100 yuan (although I ordered the most expensive 180 yuan mille-feuille cake, haha).
