Jiajia Dessert is a dessert shop in Hong Kong that has been recommended by Michelin for many years. I have visited many times. I have eaten at Breeze Beiche and Keelung Road before, but they seem to be closed. The branch I ate at today is located at Shin Kong Mitsukoshi A11 On the 2nd floor, it seems to be the only remaining branch in Taipei.
The seating area is semi-outdoor, with about 6 round tables, and each table seats about 3-4 people. The number of seats is not many, but when we come to dine on weekday afternoons, we can sit directly without queuing.
Coconut purple rice dew $110
The purple rice porridge is topped with coconut milk, and the appearance alone makes people drool. In addition to the purple rice porridge itself, there is also a soft thing that looks like a glutinous rice ball, but it breaks when you bite it, and the taste is not like a glutinous rice ball. ; In addition, this bowl of dessert actually contains corn, which tastes completely out of place and has an extra level of texture. It’s so creative and delicious.
This one is a bit sweet, but it tastes so happy. I personally recommend ordering it iced.
Walnut juice + lotus seed red bean paste combo $118
It was my first time to order these two as a double combo. I didn’t expect that walnuts and red beans go so well together. The walnut juice is super rich and it’s very comfortable to drink hot. It suits my appetite.
Overall, the taste of their products suits my taste. Even if the price is a bit high, each product is over $100, it is still a store that I often think of when I want to eat desserts. Unfortunately, this is the only branch left. Everyone. If you come to Xinyi District, I recommend you to eat here!
