Located in the Kushiro Washo Market, most of the shops here are known for their popular katsugodon or for selling fish and crabs. It seems that this one is the only shop that specializes in selling fresh oysters and scallops.
Eating them fresh and live is truly the best! There are different sizes, varieties, and price ranges, so it depends on personal preference and budget. Today, there were only two types, so I ordered two fukujyu (a specific type of scallop) and one large fukujyu. Just one word to describe it: fresh.
