Yilan Part-time Job Gourmet Snack Record
#Third Item! Just one bite of the churro! (My friend has never tried it?!)
Made fresh, so you have to be patient while waiting.
There’s a mold machine in the back that shapes the dough into churros, which are then deep-fried. (This is similar to the white sugar cake, but the mochi for the white sugar cake is handmade.)
Dish
Cinnamon flavor, a classic standard flavor, a snack you’d typically hold while watching a movie.
The texture is crispy (really hot), and it has a strong cinnamon aroma. You can taste the rich cinnamon flavor with each bite, making you want to go watch a movie... (Conditioned response 🤣)
Chocolate flavor, generously coated with chocolate powder until the dough is completely hidden; only then did I hear the boss say the chocolate flavor is the signature one and is the most popular among customers. (I genuinely thought it was cinnamon.) Since I haven't tasted it, I left it for my friend to review this flavor.
Environment
The shop is small, but the environment is quite clean and tidy.
Service
The young boss runs the business with a gentle and polite attitude, and he honestly informs that the items are made fresh and will take some time. He gives a number tag to retrieve the food (his Instagram is also on it, taking the opportunity for some advertising 🤣). As a pure tourist, I can wait; I'm curious about his cooking method.
Review
The churros are crispy and crunchy right out of the fryer, and the amount of cinnamon powder is just right, not too overwhelming. It’s a delicious churro—neither dry nor hard. I would eat it again next time.
