You might find it a bit strange to eat Indian cuisine in the UK, but just take a look at the crowd waiting outside, and you can definitely understand why people come to this restaurant! The prices here are very reasonable for the UK, and it’s absolutely one of the top five Indian restaurants in the world! To say that means it’s really delicious, but I highly recommend making a reservation beforehand; otherwise, you’ll just find yourself circling around the restaurant with all the other crowds, waiting for a seat!

Once you have a reservation, make sure to arrive at the restaurant entrance at the specified time. If not, it’s very easy for your seat to become someone else's. After being seated, you’ll be served by a very enthusiastic waiter. Since there are so many dishes to choose from, I asked for their recommendations, and they suggested three dishes, so I ordered all three!

The dishes were:
❤️Appetizers
There were so many options for appetizers, and I simply ordered what the waiter recommended. I didn’t remember the name, but if you want to order the same thing as me, you can show the waiter the photo, and I’m sure they’ll know what it is! My appetizer was made with potatoes and a variety of fresh greens. When I took the first bite, I felt like I was eating McDonald's fries; it honestly tasted just like them, but it was mixed with a lot of greens and sauces to make a healthy potato salad. It might not sound amazing, but it was indeed quite tasty, with a tangy and sweet sauce that was perfect as an appetizer!

❤️Prawn Pathos
I usually love shrimp, so I was going to order something related to that anyway, and since it was recommended, I decided to try it! For this dish, if you don’t usually eat spicy food, it might be a bit much. It has about a three-star spiciness level, which is moderate. This dish also includes an Indian bread, and it’s thinner and larger, so you can use more of the bread to scoop up the sauce to mitigate the spiciness in your mouth! The shrimp was firm and fresh! Paired with the sauce, it’s a very authentic Indian dish!

❤️Chicken Berry Britannia
This is a classic dish that many people probably order. The chicken was quite tender, but the star of the show was definitely the sauce! This sauce made me devour two pieces of bread! It has a slight sourness, more saltiness, and a hint of sweetness, somewhat resembling a curry sauce combined with a bit of miso flavor. I really want to ask the chef for the recipe; this dish is truly a classic and absolutely delicious!

If you usually love Indian food, I highly recommend making a reservation to experience this place. If you typically don’t like Indian cuisine, I think you should still give it a chance; you might just fall in love with it! Personally, I plan to visit this restaurant again the next time I return to the UK. I hope everyone enjoys it!
