🔱 Pick up Braised Pork Rice 🔱

"Fuck!" A big word is hung at the door, you can see it from a distance😂

The name of the store is also very interesting. It is called "picking corners". This is not something that Taiwanese people really can't get.

The store sells a variety of Taiwanese food.
Among them, braised pork rice and small intestine wrapped in large intestine are classics that will definitely appear in stores in mainland China and Taiwan 😂

We ordered braised pork rice + braised egg/pickled pork rice/braised cabbage/five-flavor octopus/fresh oyster soup.
The total of the above is 133 RMB. I originally wanted to have a can of black pine or apple cider, but I saw that the aluminum can costs 16 RMB...
All I can say is that listing the word "Taiwan" is really just selling it at a higher price...

Price aside, the food itself was pretty good.

✔️ The braised pork rice is just right. The rice is soft and glutinous. It is paired with cucumbers to relieve greasy taste and sprinkled with some pepper. It tastes great.

✔️ The Jianjiao braised pork rice is a hodgepodge, adding sausages, shrimp rolls, etc. to the braised pork rice. The shrimp rolls are not bad, and they also have the same sauce as the shrimp rolls for dipping. The sausage was a bit oily but ok.

✔️ The cabbage stew is really amazing, because I have eaten N Taiwanese dishes in mainland China, and most of them sell dog meat with sheep's heads. The real Taiwanese food like cabbage stew and sweet potato leaves rarely appears. Their cabbage stew is just like what you eat on the roadside in Taiwan.

✔️ Fresh oyster soup is the same as above, rarely seen in Taiwanese restaurants. Fresh oysters are simply made with shredded ginger to remove the fishy smell, and then added with chopped green onion. The taste is very good. Reminds me of the bowl of soup I had when I went to Changhua Wanggong before.

✔️ The five-flavored baby octopus🐙 can also be found on the roadside in Taiwan. The cooked baby octopus is topped with sweet and spicy sauce and paired with ginger🫚, that’s what it tastes like.

There are also many photos of Taiwan on the wall, among which I also saw Tainan Wangji Fish Skin...ah! Milkfish is number one in my mind☝️. I hope I can return to Taiwan next month
