Yufeng Japanese Snacks is located on Fujian Street in Hualien. It is a Taiwanese Japanese restaurant that only opens in the evening.
It has been opened in Hualien for more than 30 years, and the store style has a strong ancient Japanese style.
What I cannot fail to mention is that the menu is full of の! Full of it!
What I enjoyed today was mixed sashimi, hotpot udon, cold vegetables, mixed sushi, and miso soup, totaling about 700 yuan.
Comprehensive Sashimi:
Ordered a small portion of sashimi.
The fish meat is fresh, beautiful in color and sweet in the mouth.
But I really don’t understand the significance of the carved mushrooms, shredded bamboo shoots and kiwi fruit on the side in this sashimi...
It's also delicious...but a little unclear.
Hot pot udon noodles:
Average udon noodles, the noodles are springy and the soup is full of flavor.
Cold vegetables:
Hualien's classic mountain vegetable Guomao, Guomao's unique slightly bitter and gelatinous texture is really delicious.
Comprehensive sushi:
のSushi!の!
The seaweed sushi is average, and the tofu skin sushi has a slightly sweet tofu skin that goes well with the slightly sour vinegar rice.
Hanano Sushi is well-balanced and delicious, from the delicate shrimp roe on the outside to the fillings inside.
But pork floss is standard Taiwanese style.
Miso soup:
Averagely delicious miso soup.
Overall, I can understand that this will not be the most delicious Japanese food in Hualien, but I can appreciate the care that the store puts into every dish.
The fruits and side dishes of the sashimi are really subtle, and the menu is full of them, which is really Taiwanese.
But the Taiwanese-style delicious food and the not too high price will still make me want to visit again if I have the opportunity.
Recommended to everyone!
