📍Beitou District, Taipei City (MRT Xinbeitou Station)
The goal is to challenge the thickest fried pork chop in Taiwan 🎯🐖
Located on a residential area street, the decor has a Japanese family-style shop vibe, and there is also a bar area.
The shop specializes in super thick pork chops, and they have a "Real Man" giant thick pork chop that looks very substantial.
The pork chops come in two options: with curry or salad 🥗
There are also options for dipping sauces for the pork chop and salad.

🐖 Thick-cut pork loin chop - Classic signature ($260):
I’m not a fan of curry, so I chose the combination with salad and omelet, which also came with miso soup.
When served, I found the best part of the meal to be the omelet and the seaweed side dish.
The chosen pork chop is supposed to have good meat quality with intermuscular fat, but I was very disappointed 😞
The meat was divided into two parts: the lean part was extremely dry, bland, and not juicy at all, while the fatty end was tough to swallow due to being too greasy.
This was the first time I encountered such poor quality fried pork chop, and in the end, I couldn't finish it.
🍛 Original beef rib curry rice ($220):
My mom’s meal; she said it was a very average Japanese curry with no memorable points.
The side dish I chose was a homemade pudding, which had a chemical taste and was very unpleasant to eat.
