Located in Tainan's Ximen New World B1, "Hua Da Milk Tea" has always been a drink shop I buy from every time I pass by. Speaking of this shop, my personal favorite flavor is the milk tea with three-quarters sugar (previously known as "Yi Shou Milk Tea"), and I jokingly call it "Kao Hsiung Water" every time I come to Kaohsiung, it’s definitely a must-try! The taste is rich, with a strong tea flavor that isn't overly sweet. Furthermore, if you bring your own reusable cup, you can get a 5 NT dollar discount, which is very considerate, eco-friendly, and money-saving.
As for this store in Tainan's Xiaoximen, the flavors are similar to those of various shops in Kaohsiung, and the quality of the milk tea is stable. However, one puzzling thing is that this shop has a low rating on Google reviews (actually, all branches of Hua Da seem to have poor reviews, yet they still have a crowd buying 😆). I personally think the experience is still great, and I don’t really understand why there are so many negative reviews. Perhaps it’s because this shop is located in a high-traffic area, leading to some service speed issues that cause dissatisfaction among some customers.
Overall, whether in Tainan or Kaohsiung, the quality of Hua Da Milk Tea remains consistently stable. Especially for milk tea lovers, it’s worth going in to give it a try.
