Located in the alleys of Daan District, "eee ice cream and bakes" is a small shop specializing in pure vegan ice cream. With its minimalist appearance, it stands apart from traditional dessert shops. "eee" focuses on plant-based ingredients, making it suitable for those who eat a fully vegan diet, are lactose intolerant, or want to try healthier options.
This time, I tried the "Ice Cream Tiramisu (Pistachio Flavor).” Made with pure vegan ice cream, it visually resembles an elegant modern dessert cup, with distinct layers and just the right portion!
The pistachio ice cream is quite striking, with a rich aroma; the nutty oils disperse in the mouth, and the texture is smooth enough. However, because it uses a nut base, the overall mouthfeel is a bit oily and heavy, making it a little overwhelming if you eat too much.
The wine flavor is one of the highlights of this dessert. It blends well with the nutty aroma and is quite pronounced, successfully creating the flavor layers that a tiramisu should have. Unfortunately, the cake layer at the bottom has become too hard due to freezing, making it less soft and fluffy. The texture is somewhat rough, lacking the moist, melt-in-your-mouth quality that a tiramisu should possess, slightly affecting the overall impression.
Overall, this dessert has an appealing concept and notable flavors, but there is room for improvement in texture handling. However, considering it is a pure vegan version, its effort and creativity should still be recognized. If you have specific dietary needs for desserts or want to experience a different twist on frozen treats, "eee ice cream and bakes" is a small shop worth trying!
