The BBQ restaurant of the Wang Pin Group is located on the fourth floor of the New Moon Plaza. This Mid-Autumn Festival, we didn't feel like grilling meat at home, so we made an early reservation to have a BBQ with family.
There were three of us, and we ordered a double Angus beef set, planning to add more if it wasn't enough. The set included four types of beef, two types of pork, and one type of chicken. For seafood, we chose scallops (which we were careful not to grill too long, as they taste really good) and squid (which was quite large). The marinated beef and pork felt quite similar to the other meats, and kimchi felt like a must-have side dish for BBQ; I thought both flavors were okay. For the main dish, we ordered a moonlit stone pot rice and garlic butter pork stone pot rice. I thought both rice dishes were quite good and fragrant. For drinks, we ordered a lemon aloe vera slush, which could be refilled, and I thought it was quite nice and refreshing. After we finished, I felt extremely full and didn’t need to order more.
The service staff had a great attitude. Even though there were many customers that day, they diligently changed the grilling nets and frequently came to ask if we wanted more side dishes and drinks. The environment was quite clean, and the atmosphere was nice; the camping theme was quite cute. However, there was a small downside regarding the environment: we sat in a private room, and the seat against the wall seemed to be broken and held together with tape. It was okay to sit there, but it didn’t look very good. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience.
