Just happened to be in Linkou and thought I'd take a walk at the outlet. I arrived around 16:00 and thought I should grab something to eat first, so without much thought, I went to Zang Sushi. At the time, I drew a number and was still about 20 numbers away, waiting almost an hour to be seated. There were many family customers and a lot of people drawing numbers online (I suggest reserving or drawing numbers online for a quicker experience). Below are the dishes from that day.
▪️ Fried shrimp tempura $60
▪️ Grilled mentaiko salmon $40/2 pieces 👍
▪️ Soft-shell crab tempura nori roll $80
▪️ Grilled salt-flavored raw salmon $40/1 piece
▪️ Raw salmon fat $40/piece 👍
▪️ Chawanmushi $60
▪️ Inari tempura nigiri sushi $40/2 pieces
▪️ Squid tempura nori wrap $40 👍
▪️ Garlic pork belly $40/2 pieces
▪️ Yuzu radish misoyaki salmon $40/1 piece
▪️ Grilled cheese salmon $40/2 pieces 👍
▪️ Hokkaido scallop $80/2 pieces 👍
▪️ Soy milk donut $90 👍
I've eaten at Zang Sushi many times, and every time I'm seated, I must get a plate of grilled cheese salmon per person. My family and I think it's much better than the grilled version from Sushi Lang. The other items were more casual choices, and I really enjoy misoyaki salmon, but I'm not a fan of the new yuzu radish flavor. The other items marked with 👍 are things I think are pretty good and I almost always order them.
This time, I ordered some less common items: Inari tempura nigiri sushi, which is tofu skin that has been fried; it’s not bad but nothing particularly special—just kind of cool.
You definitely have to finish with a soy milk donut and add matcha powder; I almost always get it as a dessert to end the meal. Recently, some sushi rice options allow for a mini rice choice, which reduces the amount of rice and lets you try more flavors.
Overall, it’s an occasionally desired flavor. This time I just ate there since it was crowded, and I didn’t particularly crave anything, but maybe because there were too many people, I thought the serving plates weren't very clean. It costs 200 yuan to play a game; I recommend using your phone to place orders—only non-plate items can accumulate points for games. This time was a Crayon Shin-chan collaboration, and I drew four times but came away empty-handed, what a pity~~
