Now there are many mala soup shops opening up, but I visited a shop located in Ohatsu Tenjin 🔥
It's called Riko Muu Mararutan, and it's located just off the main street of the Ohatsu Tenjin shopping district ⛩️. The nearest station is Higashi Umeda on the Osaka Metro, but it's also within walking distance from various Umeda and Osaka stations 🚃.
The distinguishing feature of this shop is its cheese-filled soup 🧀. The pricing is straightforward at 400 yen for every 100 grams 😆.
I chose the pork bone soup (which is not spicy at all)🐷 for 2088 yen.
I added:
If you spend over 1200 yen, you can get a serving of instant noodles, so I added that too 🍜.
They also provided fruit 🍍, edamame 🫛, and coffee as a complimentary service ✨. I had some edamame 🫛.
The delivered pork bone mala soup was topped with cheese and ground sesame 🧀.
The pork bone soup was very tasty with no strong spices or peculiar flavor, tailored to Japanese preferences 🐷. The combination with cheese was fantastic 🧀. I highly recommend this to those who dislike spicy or strong-tasting foods‼️
The presence of biang biang noodles and fried eggs, which are not common in other shops, was refreshing 🍳. I made it seafood-focused, and both the shrimp and squid were large and tasty 🦐🦑.
With four types of noodles and vermicelli added, the variety in texture was delightful 🍜.
I think this is the perfect place for a first experience with mala soup 😄.
If it's pork bone soup, this shop has become my personal recommendation 🐷.
It quickly filled up with high school girls 🈵.
I believe it will continue to grow in popularity, so I definitely recommend it 😆.
Next time, I want to try something spicier 🔥.
