Hokka Express

This time in Fiji, I dined at Hokka Express, located on the second floor of the movie complex food court. There are quite a few Asian cuisine restaurants gathered here, with a clean environment and spacious seating, making it quite convenient to eat here before or after watching a movie.

I ordered a Chicken Gravy Rice, and I was taken aback when it arrived at the table—the portion was huge! The entire plate of rice was almost overflowing, covered with thick gravy and plenty of chicken, making quite an impression. This portion could easily be shared among three girls and still be more than enough.

The taste of the Chicken Gravy Rice was quite standard; the gravy was savory with a hint of mild spice, and the chicken pieces were tender. However, the overall flavor was relatively plain and became somewhat monotonous towards the end. It was an acceptable meal.

Overall, Hokka Express is the kind of place that is "not amazing but does fill you up." The meals are average in flavor, but the portions are substantial and served quickly, making it quite convenient for those who want a simple meal while traveling, or for those looking to grab something hot near the movie theater in the evening.
