I heard that there are chain stores from Maruyoshi Seimenjo and Yoshioka Magurobushi Center in Kamishinjo as well, so I went to check it out. 🍜
The restaurant is called Menya Maruyoshi, and it has an excellent location right next to Kamishinjo Station on the Hankyu Kyoto Line‼️
The ordering system is done via a ticket machine. 🎫
The restaurant has counter seating and table seating, and on the table, there are condiments for varying flavors:
three kinds of seafood powders 🐟,
homemade Hokkaido kombu vinegar ✨,
homemade spicy powder 🔥,
seafood eight spices 🔥,
and black pepper 🔥.
This time, I ordered
spicy Taiwanese mazegohan 🇹🇼🍜 for 1000 yen.
🍜
It’s the number one popular menu item among young people!✨
The noodles are free to upgrade to a large size, so I went for the large! 🍜
When the mazegohan arrived, the whole grain thick noodles 🍜 came topped with
diced chashu pork 🐷,
ground pork 🐷,
egg yolk 🥚,
green onions,
chives,
and seaweed.
It was simple yet substantial! 🍜
There was also a kind explanation of how to eat it 📝.
I broke the egg yolk and mixed everything in quickly. 🥚
The noodles were super chewy and very filling! 🍜
The rich flavor and just the right amount of spiciness were delicious! 🔥
The diced chashu pork was substantial, soft, and tasty! 🐷
The ground pork was well-seasoned and delicious too! 🐷
The green onions and chives added fresh crunch and were tasty; especially the chives had a strong presence!‼️
After adding the homemade Hokkaido kombu vinegar, it became refreshing and offered another delicious flavor! ✨
I also added the three kinds of seafood powder, which intensified the seafood taste. 🐟
After finishing the noodles, I added extra rice,
but there was a lot, making it quite filling. 🍚
One bowl was very filling and delicious!‼️
While there were many students and men, there were also women who came alone, so I think it’s easy for women to go there as well. 👩
I also want to try other menu items next time! 🍜
