Jiyinghui is a well-known beef noodle restaurant in Taoyuan, with branches in Zhongli as well. Each beef noodle place in Taoyuan has its own supporters, but this one remarkably offers an all-you-can-use self-service bar for drinks and ice cream. 😙 The beef noodle soup comes in six flavors: Imperial Spicy, Plum Brew Tomato, Old Tan Sauerkraut, Health-Essence Herbal, Signature Sichuan, and Original Braised. 😙 There are also many diverse options for side dishes. 👏

The interior is decorated in a simple Japanese style, clean and bright, with spacious seating. 👍 The main focus of the restaurant is beef noodles, but for those who don’t eat beef, there are also Mahjong Noodles and Fried Sauce Noodles to choose from. ☺️

Sesame Sauce Noodles:

There is a lot of sauce, leaning towards a Japanese style. Personally, I find it a bit sweet, reminiscent of eating hot cold noodles. I think it would be better if it were slightly saltier. ☺️

Braised Beef Noodle Soup:

It looks very delicious when it arrives at the table, matching the tagline from the advertisement about chewy noodles, rich soup, and big chunks of meat. 😆 However, the overall flavor is a bit strong, so those who prefer lighter flavors can inform the staff not to make it so intense. Those who enjoy bold flavors will likely appreciate it more. 🤩 I chose thin noodles, which soak up the broth better. 😏 The beef shank is stewed just right. 😍 Highly recommended! 👏

Braised Dishes:

Today I ordered pig intestine, soy skin, and pig ears. The braised dishes are usually enhanced with a little white vinegar for flavor; if you don’t like it, you can tell the staff. The braised dishes have a unique smoky flavor as they are charred, but that day, the intestines were a bit overdone, resulting in a slight bitterness. 🥲 It’s a bit unfortunate; perhaps the kitchen should be more careful not to overchar. 😁 The rice noodles performed quite well, with a hint of spicy fragrance. 😋 Soft and flavorful enough. 🫡

To summarize:

The beef noodles are quite high-quality and flavorful, but parking can be inconvenient; you may have to park on Nanping Road. 😙 Prices under 200 TWD feel reasonable, and meat lovers can customize for an extra fee. 😁
