Located in the old street of Jiufen, this small restaurant sells some well-known Taiwanese snacks. (I haven't been to Jiufen for a long time, and it turns out there are so many foreign tourists.)
One of the store's main features is the ability to sit in the scenic area, enjoying delicious food while taking in the views of Jiufen. The scenic area is in high demand because the view is really nice. However, there are also indoor seats that are air-conditioned.
The large intestine noodle soup costs $70; the portion is not big, suitable for a snack-sized serving. Overall, it tastes pretty good, especially the braised large intestine, which is very flavorful and well-prepared.
The braised pork rice is $50, and it also tastes decent. It's just that braised pork rice in Taiwan generally has a certain standard, so it's about what you would expect.
The soup dumplings are $120 for seven pieces; you can taste the broth inside the dumplings, which showcases their specialty. The overall texture is also quite nice.
