Hello everyone, I am the little frog 🐸
Near the Sanhe Tourist Night Market, there is a shop called <Wanli Meatballs>. It's a storefront that specializes in meatballs, offering a simple menu with only two items: meatballs and soup with meatballs. They also sell frozen meatballs for purchase.
The shop has a bright environment, with not many seats—about eight low bar-style seats. The utensils are hung on the wall for self-service, and the sauces are placed on a cabinet cart for customers to add themselves.
⭐️ Meatball $35
These meatballs are fried, so they are a bit greasier. The skin is QQ (chewy) and has a great texture, while the filling is firm and mixed with a small amount of diced bamboo shoots. The saltiness is moderate, and the sauce drizzled on top is thick and slightly transparent, making it a milder flavor. You can add extra chili and garlic!
⭐️ Soup with Meatballs $30
A bowl of soup comes with two mushroom meatballs. The broth is light but does not contain cilantro or celery, making the flavor a bit simple. The meatballs are Q (springy) and have a good texture.
‼️ Conclusion:
Later, I saw a notice on the wall explaining that the absence of cilantro during my visit was due to price fluctuations after the typhoon, which is a bit unfortunate. I will update with photos and reviews next time I visit if they offer cilantro again.
