Today I came to the newly opened Japanese skewers restaurant on Qingcheng Road. This restaurant is very crowded regardless of weekdays and holidays, so reservations are required. The interior is decorated in Japanese izakaya style.
For meal content:
- Except for the skewers, everything else is good, especially the cabbage, which looks ordinary but is very crispy and delicious. The spicy food is also good in my opinion.
- Onion salt is not delicious, yes it is not delicious. It has a peculiar smell, and I recommend the nearby 1928 Scallion Salt, although the price is quite different.
- The skewers are the main dish, but I’m really not satisfied with them. The sauce is a bit salty and bitter, and the meat is hard. The chicken drumsticks and three-flavored mentaiko are not bad, but the other two tartars/green onions are a bit unsatisfactory, and the balance of taste needs to be strengthened.
There is also a red-mouthed Beibu Pot, which will be recommended to warm your stomach as a starter. It’s pretty good. In short, I am not satisfied with this skewers and need to improve it. The other grilled and fried ones are good. I can try it out but I don’t think of eating it often.
