It’s only a 2-minute walk from Nanjing Fuxing Station. We passed by this beverage shop and thought we’d never had one before, so we decided to try it out.
The store’s sign is quite cute, it says “#吃不stop口”. There is a section on the menu for the Chew Chew series. It seems that they are very confident in their toppings, including Hantian crystal balls, lychee coconut, and natural toppings. Aloe vera, brown sugar pearls, etc.
Although there are many different toppings trying to confuse me, as a pearl milk connoisseur (?), I still have to have brown sugar pearl milk tea
Brown sugar bubble milk tea $45 (original price $50, use an eco-friendly cup to get $5 off)
I made a mistake when choosing the sugar level at the beginning. I forgot it was brown sugar pearls and chose light sugar. When I saw a whole bunch of brown sugar piled up at the bottom of the cup, I knew I was dead. It was indeed right, the whole thing was so sweet🫠 for everyone A piece of advice, be sure to choose sugar-free~
Maybe because of the creamer and slight sugar, the milk tea tastes cheap and sweet, which I personally don’t like.
Regarding the pearls, they seem to have little or no chewy texture and are a bit soft, which is a pity~
Overall, the price of the drinks is quite cheap, but the brown sugar pearl milk tea is too sweet and not my cup of tea. If I buy it again, I will want to choose another rich Zhizhi thick milk series on the menu that caught my eye.
