Location: Toucheng Township, Yilan County

For dinner, we chose a nearby izakaya that's very close to home. An izakaya with no time limit is really great. We could eat and chat without feeling rushed, even though the food wasn't served very quickly. The absence of a dining time limit made it totally fine. 😌

🌟 Grilled Matsusaka Pork with Salt
The charcoal grilled aroma is very rich, and the texture has layers.

🌟 Spicy Pepper Pork Roll
This was the MVP of our order. The spicy pepper doesn’t overpower the pork’s flavor; instead, it enhances the deliciousness of the pork, adding depth to the texture of the roll. It was very tasty. 😋

🌟 Three-Star Scallion Pork Roll
This dish didn't live up to expectations. Although the scallions were fragrant, they made the pork a bit dry. I wouldn’t recommend it too much.

🌟 Crispy Pork Intestines
Charcoal-grilled intestines are always highly anticipated. However, this place’s intestines had quite a bit of the harder edges, which weren’t specially prepared. As a result, the edges were very tough when grilled, and I found that a bit off-putting.

🌟 Signature Grilled Meat Rice Bowl
When it arrived, there was a nice soft-boiled egg in the middle, which added a smooth texture to the entire dish. However, the seasoning of the rice was a bit bland, which I didn't particularly enjoy.

Overall, it seems like a place to visit when you don't know what else to eat. Some dishes were okay, while others weren’t my favorite. But having no time limit for dining is truly nice. 😌
