A very popular Japanese Western-style restaurant, 90% of the customers are Korean. When I arrived, it was just opening time, and I was surprised to see some customers who seemed to have already finished eating. I wondered if they had booked the place or how long I would have to wait. After asking, I found out that a group had requested an early opening, and they had just finished their first round, so I could be seated immediately. But soon it filled up with Korean customers again.
The business is very good; I've heard there’s generally a line and it might even sell out early. The fried shrimp in the shrimp tempura set is made with tiger shrimp, which have a firm texture similar to lobster, and are large. The batter is fried to be very crispy, and the contrast of the crispy outer layer with the firm inside is something I really enjoy. The curry is Japanese-style curry, and I highly recommend it as well. Unfortunately, they didn’t have chicken thigh available because of the early opening, but I’ve heard that it’s also highly recommended. The place is clean, bright, and comfortable, and the service is quick and friendly. No wonder the business is doing so well.
