The Korean restaurant Han Shik Ke is one of the partner stores located within the Neihu RT-Mart Fresh Food Market. The RT-Mart Fresh Food Market is located on the first floor of the IKEA Neihu store on Section 1 of Juzong Road. This spot used to be RT-Mart's Neihu Store No. 1, and the RT-Mart that Neihu is familiar with now is Store No. 2. The history of this development seems a bit complicated, so I won’t elaborate on it here.
Today I enjoyed a Korean kimchi hot pot set, totaling 200 NTD.
Korean kimchi hot pot set:
If ordered a la carte, it would cost 170 NTD. The set includes three additional Korean side dishes. Today’s side dishes were golden bitter melon, river ear, and cauliflower. The side dishes actually performed better than the kimchi hot pot. The bitter melon was especially delicious; the bittersweet sensation made it irresistible.
Regarding the kimchi hot pot, the amount of kimchi was fairly sufficient, and the flavor was quite standard; the portion of meat was slightly less.
Overall, it is about the normal standard you’d expect from a food court. The most criticized aspect in online reviews is the service level of the staff. Although I wasn’t shocked personally, looking at everyone else’s complaints was a bit nerve-wracking.
I wonder if this place has any relation to the Korean restaurant Han Feng Kuan near Carrefour, as the dishes in these food courts seem to have subtle similarities.
