In the area of Nanyang Street near Taipei Main Station, it's very easy to encounter bad dining experiences. I didn't expect that an Ichinichi Ramen branch would open there earlier this year, which is simply a lifesaver.

I ordered the Golden Chicken Soup Ramen and chose the firm, thick noodles, which were incredibly chewy and delicious. The golden chicken broth was very refreshing, lightly seasoned so you could drink it all. You also get the added crunch of diced onions for a complex chewiness. The pork slices were average, but the sous-vide result was still a top choice.
