My friend and I spontaneously wanted to get coffee, and a while ago I saw a recommendation for this place. My friend had been here before and thought it was nice, so we decided to give it a try. Here are the dishes we had that day.
▪️Mimizu Tiramisu (with alcohol) $180
So delicious!! Overall, it's very smooth and features the authentic ladyfingers. I had been eating too many strange variations lately, but this one had a nice hint of alcohol without being too overpowering, which I really liked (I’m not a fan of strong alcohol flavors). Initially, we only ordered one, but we ended up ordering another.
▪️Blueberry Earl Grey Chiffon $170 (add strawberries +$30)
This chiffon cake is tasty, and the whipped cream on top is nice too. However, compared to the tiramisu, it’s a bit less exciting. The Earl Grey flavor in the chiffon is decent (I’m not a big fan of Earl Grey). My friend loves strawberries, so we added them, and the presentation is quite cute.
▪️Japanese Egg Salad Croissant $160
I love egg salad, but I had already eaten lunch that day, so this was what my friend ordered. I took a bite and thought it was pretty cool; the egg salad has a somewhat mashed texture. It has small bits of egg white, but not too many, and the flavor is nice. The highlight is the croissant, which is incredibly delicious—so good that I wanted to ask where it’s sourced from 😂—it’s both flaky and aromatic.
▪️Tiramisu Latte I $180
*Sweetness and ice cannot be adjusted
It looked cool, so I ordered it with my friend (who had tried it before). It comes in a tall glass, and you need to stir it before drinking. It’s a latte combined with mascarpone coffee, which is quite unique. However, if you order dessert, drinking this might feel a bit heavy overall (after all, we ordered two tiramisus 😆). But it’s still pretty good.
▪️Taiwanese Honey Oolong Tea H $180
(add fresh milk to make it milk tea +$20)
This was ordered by my friend, and the oolong tea is really fragrant! It has a tea-forward flavor, and the fresh milk is a bit milder.
Overall, this place has a comfortable atmosphere and an outdoor area. I heard it’s very atmospheric in the evening. My friend said next time, we hope to sit by the window on tatami mats, as it’d be beautiful with sunlight. I’d want to come back for the tiramisu and croissant!
